About Us
Open-IACS is a project made up of a group of Paying Agencies, research experts and an HPC group with high experience. Open-IACS general objective is to support the generation, aggregation and cross-border reuse of open datasets, increase the capabilities of HPC (High Performance Computing) and the data capabilities of the European data infrastructure, and promote the use of HPC and data across borders in the public interest.
Areas of Focus
Open community platform for sharing solutions in the IACS domain though the Linked Open Data paradigm. Develop technical solutions to aid local IACS implementations and ensure their long-term sustainability actions aimed to foster industry partners to further develop and grow the solutions above and beyond this project. Develop a reference IACS architecture and common libraries of reusable processes, digital components and reference configurations by using open standards and open source, to facilitate the effective adoption in existing IACS implementations and to ensure the interoperability with environmental datasets.
